It’s been announced the band Anthrax are to release a version of their own whiskey that was inspired by Pantera guitarist – Dimebag Darrell.
The whiskey is named “The Healer” and it’s a limited edition bourbon. ‘The Healer’ was one of Dimebag Darrell’s nicknames for the booze.

Put us right back on the horse.”

When I took the first sip, the mix of flavours really came out in a big way. It was more like a cool smooth vibe that made me pour a second glass. Second glasses are fun.”

The tragic death of Dimebag Darrell took place at the Alrosa Villa club in Ohio 8th December 2004. When he was shot and killed along four other punters. It was with a gig with Dimebag’s band Damageplan.
