Dee Snider share’s petition to get AC/DC to play at the 2021 Super Bowl
Dee Snider of Twisted Sister is keen to see AC/DC play for the next Super Bowl
Dee Snider shared on Twitter the andit_var=v0″ title=”Petition to get AC/DC to play Super Bowl”>charge.org petition to get and Jenniger Lopez play at their halftime match.
In the tweet he said “WTF!? @shakira and @jlo for this year’s NFL halftime show!? Once again the great heavy music that rocks the stadiums week after week, game after game is completely ignored. I guess we don’t shake our ass enough!!”
The petition reads “It’s been a while since we’ve had some real metal play the halftime show for the Super Bowl, Don’t get me wrong, all music artists have done a great job and should play the show, but we all need a turn. It’s time for some rock and roll! And who better than and possibly touring again. This would be perfect! Come together, metal heads, and get this going! Dee Snider of Twisted Sister is with us!”
It’s been a while since a rock band played at The Super Bowl the last band was The Who back in 2010.
Snider says: “There are a lot of bands that are stadium worthy and a lot of bands that have sold hundreds of millions of records, but the one band that I think has such crossover appeal to so many people in all genres is and the band is reuniting with a new album, they’re going to be touring again and they would bring down the house.”
There’s no word or post from the andise”>AC/DC crew about playing Super Bowl but there has been some rumours saying a new album is on the way with tracks recorded with the late Malcolm Young.
The album has been posed to be released in March this year.
