Metallica – The Blacklist has dropped

When Metallica smashed out their self titled album (known as The Black Album) above all, changed the world of thrash metal. The album changed Metallica from cult thrash favourites to worldwide mainstream rockers. Today, the album is the best selling and it keeps on getting played.

Finally for the 30th anniversary of ‘The Black Album’ comes a tribute album with a plethora of artists covering their favourite Metallica song. The tribute album is simply titled ‘The Metallica Blacklist’.

In addition it features artists from all kinds of genres including artists such as Ghost, Weezer, Sam Fender, The Chats, OFF!, My Morning Jacket, a Nothing Else Matters cover by Miley Cyrus feat. WATT, Elton John, Yo-Yo Ma, Robert Trujillo, Chad Smith and heaps more!

Compared to the rest, my Favourite would gave to go to Aussie legendary punk The Chats with their rockin’ version of Holier Than You
