Pearl Jam offer fans to win ‘Write their Setlist’ competitionHipworth
Pearl Jam have given fans the chance to write Pearl Jam’s setlist and to be Eddie Vedder’s guitar tech for one night only. The competition is to support those of need in food during the coronavirus pandemic. Only lucky fan will be able to win the major prize.
Pearl Jam joined the All In Challenge #AllinChallenge after Eddie Vedder was nominated by actress Laura Dern. This ‘Pearl Jam Birthday Package’ is a once in a lifetime opportunity for die-hard Pearl Jam fans.
The ‘Pearl Jam Birthday Package’ winner will be invited (And their plus one) will be invited to a Pearl Jam show in the future (When we’ll be able to watch live music again) to celebrate their “birthday”, but it doesn’t matter if the night falls on their birthday or not.
Vedder explained in that the winner will get ‘Happy Birthday’ sang to them live onstage in front of thousands of fans and they’ll also get to attend the bands soundcheck earlier that afternoon and even get to write their setlist with them. Also the winner will be given a signed Fender Telecaster by the group.
Vedder added “And as long as you’re up there with the crew, I figure, heck, maybe you could bring out a guitar for me, we could put you to work a little bit. I mean, I will give you a few hits off my wine — or maybe we’ll just get you your own bottle.”
