Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl is no stranger to the Tonight show. He has appeared on the show three other times. Grohl has also had hosting experience filling in for Jimmy Kimmel in 2017. He even dressed up as David Letterman for Halloween on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Together Jimmy and Dave will deliver the monologue, interview guests such as comedian Jim Jefferies and musician Blake Shelton. And they'll probably participate in any games that have been planned by the Tonight Show crew.
Grohl will have plenty to talk about. There's been a new album by the Foo Fighters - Medicine At Midnight, His song Eazy Sleazy released with Mick Jagger, the What Drives Us documentary he directed and the Foo Fighters were inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.
On the Foo Fighters being inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Grohl told Rolling Stone "I predict that my speech will be the shortest since I have such a big mouth. It’s time for those guys to speak."
Grohl expressed he was very happy that The Foo Fighters were inducted and never thought it would happen on the other artists inducted he said “Tina Turner, obviously, deserves everything that she’s been awarded with,†he told the magazine. “And Carole King is a big one, and the Go-Go’s. To see so many women inducted this year is impressive and encouraging.â€
According to KKT2 Jimmy Fall has an eponymous syndrome. It is defined "as the moment when one realises that they are seemingly the only person that hates something or someone that everyone else enjoys and praises because they still harbor memories of when said person or thing used to [be terrible]."
That's brutal!
Dave will appear on The Tonight on Monday 24th May.
