There's plenty of viral videos of a kid rockin' out to a classic track. And now there's another one to add to the list! Here is 7-yeard-old Jesús del Rio smashing out a rockin' rendition of the AC/DC classic "Highway to Hell."
The performance takes place in a blind audition stage. The judges sit in chairs with their backs to the performer. When they feel happy they smash the button on front of them and the chair turns around and they see what they hear. He finished the AC/DC classic with the approval of the crowd and judges.
At the end of the performance Jesús ends with belting our a vein-popping scream that leaves him red in the face. By the look on the faces of the judges, they have given the youngster some praise.
If AC/DC want to replace Brian Johnston again, there's no need to call Axl Rose call up this kid to do the job. Check out the video below:
Highway to Hell on a break
In February 2021 Angus Young admitted that he came up with the lyrics to "Highway to Hell" while on a dunny break. Angus young said “And we’d been there a couple of weeks and we were going a bit slow. I had come in one day with (Malcolm Young) and just before we got in, I said, ’I’ve got a good idea in my headâ€
Angus added “And then I said to Malcolm, I had this thing about the drums. I said, ’I just want it to come in in the right spot.’ And he said, ’Okay.’ Malcolm got behind the drums and he said, ‘Right, you let me know when you hear the downbeat, the first downbeat of what you want.’ So that’s what I did. I said, ‘I’ll do my drop,’ and he said, ’And I’ll follow your foot.’ So he came in with the beat. That’s how we set it upâ€.
In other AC/DC news they have released a teaser of a new video clip. "Witch's Spell" from their latest album "Power Up" released back in November. The lineup is Brian Johnson (vocals), Phil Rudd (drums), Cliff Williams (bass), Angus Young (guitar) and Stevie Young (guitar). The clip will be available at midnight tonight (AEST).
