Black Veil Brides Confirm New Album Is Complete

In a recent interview with ALT 105.1, frontman Andy Biersack confirmed that the band’s upcoming album is fully mixed and currently being mastered.
According to Blabbermouth.net, Andy explained that Black Veil Brides wanted to give fans something fresh to enjoy while the finishing touches were made to the record — leading to the surprise drop of “Hallelujah.”

Rather than releasing it as a formal single, Andy described “Hallelujah” as a “street track” a raw introduction to the sound and intensity fans can expect from the new era. This strategy fits with what he told Kerrang!, promising that fans will see “more songs and more videos” before the full album drops.

“Hallelujah” — The First New Track of 2025

Released in mid-2025, “Hallelujah” marks Black Veil Brides’ first new music since their 2024 single “Bleeders.”

Highlights from the release:

  • Features backing vocals by the Tampa-based One Voice Ensemble choir.

  • Produced by Andy Biersack and Jake Pitts.

  • Animated video directed by Marco Pavone, who has also worked with The Black Dahlia Murder, Pink Floyd, and Shadow of Intent.

  • First performed live at Warped Tour, Long Beach, CA, on July 26, 2025.

According to Andy, “Hallelujah” captures the band’s rawest and most visceral energy to date — calling it “the heaviest and most vitriolic BVB record by far,” yet deeply sincere.

“Hallelujah” Is Not a Religious Song

In an interview with Cutter’s Rockcast (via idobi.com), Andy Biersack clarified that despite its title, “Hallelujah” is not a religious song. He shared that while his Catholic upbringing influenced his perspective, the track is more about cultural devotion and ideological intensity than faith itself.

“I grew up Catholic … the good and bad filters its way in,” Andy said, explaining that “Hallelujah” explores how belief in ideas — political, cultural, or personal — can mirror the passion of religion without being about worship.

This deeper concept adds another layer to the song’s message, making it one of Black Veil Brides’ most thought-provoking tracks yet.

About Black Veil Brides

Formed in 2006 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Black Veil Brides have carved out a unique identity in modern rock and metal. The lineup — Andy Biersack, Jake Pitts, Jinxx, Christian “CC” Coma, and Lonny Eagleton — are known for their blend of anthemic choruses, gothic theatrics, and cinematic soundscapes.

Drawing inspiration from legends like Kiss, Mötley Crüe, and Metallica, the band delivers a mix of glam-rock showmanship and metalcore power. Their music explores themes of rebellion, identity, and perseverance, earning them one of the most dedicated fan communities in modern rock.

With “Hallelujah” and their upcoming 2025 album, Black Veil Brides appear to be returning to their heavier roots while pushing their sound into bold new territory.
