This groundbreaking experience features Metallica’s powerhouse performances of fan-favourite songs such as Whiplash, One, and Enter Sandman, filmed with cutting-edge technology that puts fans right in the middle of the action. Whether you’re standing in the famed Snake Pit, getting a front-row view, or feeling the energy from the stage itself, this is Metallica like you’ve never seen before.

To bring this one-of-a-kind concert to life, Metallica’s performance was captured with 14 high-tech cameras, including stabilised rigs, cable-suspended setups, and remote-controlled dolly systems. These innovations allow fans to experience every riff, every drumbeat, and every roar of the crowd from multiple perspectives, making it feel like you're standing alongside James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo.

A Special Release for Metallica Fans
Alongside this next-level concert experience, Metallica is also releasing a special EP, M72 World Tour: Mexico City, featuring the three songs from the performance in Spatial Audio. Fans can stream the EP on Apple Music starting this Friday, bringing the concert’s epic sound to their own speakers.
Zane Lowe of Apple Music had the chance to preview the concert and was blown away: “I’ve been a music fan my whole life, and I’ve never experienced anything like this,” said Lowe. “It’s not just the best seat in the house — it’s like you’re in the only seat on stage.”
