Ozzy Osbourne Dressed As Dracula In A Coffin Old Interview
Back in 1983 Ozzy Osbourne was on the Bark At The Moon solo tour. The singer was interviewed on the UK TV music show 'The Tube by Jools Holland'.
Jools Holland asks Ozzy Osbourne's ties to anti-Christian beliefs, assumed by some due to his music and album artwork. Also, the infamous act of Ozzy biting a bat only happened a year before this interview.
However, this interview is pretty funny. The footage isn't great but the audio is clear enough to understand. Ozzy's charisma isn't lost to bad quality video. In the video Jools presents the singer with the statement "Word has it that in America you've been thought, heaven knows why, as a bit of an anti-Christ, and have had some bother", and then asks how Ozzy handles the backlash. Additionally, Ozzy responds, "It's just a load of rumour, really. I'm just a normal guy like everybody else, I don't know where they get all these ideas from". It's funny when he's dressed as Dracula standing in a coffin. Also in the interview, Ozzy talks about his new party trick hobby of shaving people's eye brows off when they're asleep "When people are asleep I lurk into their room and zip their eyebrows" he explains. They look the next day completely different, their whole life changes, you know". I guess that was a new thing back in 1983.
