Classic Pop-Punk Albums become animated
Ever wondered how pop punk album covers would look animated? And how has the genre evolved in the last 25 years? Well YouTuber 'animagu' has made an animated video that has brought to life the album covers by The Offspring, Blink-182, Yellowcard, Paramore, My Chemical Romance, Waterparks, Machine Gun Kelly and more.
YouTuber Animagu is a freelance motion designer and video editor based in Uruguay, his real name is Agustin Esquibel and he's worked with many major artists on animated artwork projects.
"Why stick to a static album cover when you can bring it to life?" says Esquibel when describing his animated album art. "That's what was keeping me up at night. So I decided to animate them. What started as a personal project ended up with the opportunity to work with Foo Fighters, Descendents, Beck, Bob Marley, Every Time I Die and many more."
Agustin Esquibel has more animations on his YouTube page as well as his website. For any band interested in him creating work for them he is available for work too.

In other Punk News Trevor Keith from Face to Face has uploaded a cover of The Clash's classic "Janie Jones" with Punk Rock Karaoke. Punk Rock Karaoke is a touring act that includes veteran punks who play the song while people in the audience get up and sing with them. Members of the band includes Stan Lee of The Dickies, Greg Hetson of Circle Jerks, Darrin Pfeiffer of Goldfinger and Randy Bradbury from Pennywise. The lineup may change from different shows.
